I don’t know if
He would have shrieked and writhed with pain
I don’t know if
He just winced and twitched in silent suffering
I don’t know how
He bore the villainous scourging
I don’t know how
He endured the jeering and scorn
All I know is that
He took it all!
He looked at me and at you
With eyes of compassion and a heart of love
And knew it had to be Him up there
On the Cross to spare us all from sin’s lethal snare
This love defies finite logic
After all, why die to love?
This Love of Jesus
Was an answer to justice
Hard to fathom this mystery, right?
But when you believe, you know it all.
“And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world.” (1 John 2:2)
His love is unfathomable

Raj Nandini ma’am, really it is an expression of inner faith through this poem, Jesus’ unfathomable love towards all mankind. Jesus is crucified & scourged for deliverance of all human being. He is our Saviour.
